FACTORY & PRODUCTION

Where the Wood Becomes Charcoal

Our own site in Nakhon Ratchasima — feedstock yard, kilns, cooling, grading and packing lines under one management, so a buyer talks to the factory, not a trading desk.

THE SITE

One site, from raw wood to sealed container

The factory sits in Nong Bun Mak, Nakhon Ratchasima — inside the agricultural belt that supplies our feedstock, and within a day's drive of the Laem Chabang container terminal. Short first-mile transport means less handling damage and lower cost per kilo landed.

Everything after the feedstock yard happens here: carbonization, controlled cooling, grading, cleaning, moisture checks, weighing, bagging and palletizing. Nothing is subcontracted to a third-party packer, so a single lot number follows the product from kiln to container.

LOCATION

Nakhon Ratchasima

Northeast Thailand, in the feedstock region itself.

PORT ACCESS

Laem Chabang

Thailand's main container port for our export lanes.

OPERATION

Owned & operated

Our own team, not a broker buying from third parties.

TRACEABILITY

Lot to container

Each batch stays identifiable through packing and loading.

MONTHLY CAPACITY AND KILN COUNT CONFIRMED ON ENQUIRY — WE QUOTE WHAT WE CAN ACTUALLY SHIP.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Eight stages between the yard and the container

Each stage has a written checkpoint. A batch does not advance until the previous one is signed off.

STAGE 01

Raw Material Selection

Wood and agricultural residue received, sorted by species and set aside to dry. Wet or mixed loads are rejected at the gate rather than blended in.

STAGE 02

Carbonization

Slow controlled burn in sealed kilns. Temperature and airflow are held to a curve that drives off volatiles without burning off yield.

STAGE 03

Cooling Process

Kilns stay closed until the batch is fully cooled and the temperature is confirmed. Rushing this stage is what causes reignition in a container.

STAGE 04

Quality Inspection

Moisture and burn behaviour checked against the agreed specification, with third-party lab testing when a contract requires it.

STAGE 05

Size Grading

Sized by hand and screen, with fines, soft pieces and unburnt cores taken out before the product reaches the packing line.

STAGE 06

Packaging

Filled to net weight, sealed and lot-marked. Bags are weight-checked in line and printed artwork is verified against the approved proof.

STAGE 07

Palletizing

Stacked to a fixed pattern, strapped and wrapped so the load survives handling at three ports without collapsing or tearing.

STAGE 08

Container Loading

Pallets stuffed, dunnage and desiccant placed, seal number recorded — and the whole load photographed before the doors close.

FEEDSTOCK & SOURCING

Residue and plantation wood — never protected forest

Our raw material comes from managed plantations and agricultural residue that would otherwise be burnt in the field. Suppliers are contracted locally and recorded by load, so we can answer where a batch came from when a buyer's compliance team asks.

FACILITY AREAS

What you will see on a walk-through

Four working areas, in the order the product moves through them.

Row of steel carbonization kilns under the factory roof

Kiln Yard

01

Batch kilns run on a staggered cycle so carbonization and cooling never compete for the same space.

Worker sorting lump charcoal by size

Sorting Hall

02

Screening and hand grading into the size bands quoted on the specification sheet.

Packing charcoal into clear bags by hand

Packing Line

03

Weighing, filling, sealing and lot marking — retail bags and bulk formats on the same floor.

Bagged charcoal stacked in covered dry storage

Warehouse

04

Covered dry storage for finished pallets, staged by order until the container is booked.

FACTORY VISITS & AUDITS

Come and see it before you sign

Serious buyers are welcome on site, and audits by your own inspector or a third-party agency are arranged with two weeks' notice. If travel is not practical, we film the areas you want to see and send the footage with sample results.

Buyer visitsFull walk-through with the production team, plus pickup from Nakhon Ratchasima or Bangkok.
Third-party auditsInspection agencies given access to the yard, the line and the batch records.
Pre-shipment inspectionYour agent can check and seal the container before it leaves the site.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

What we are building next

Planned, not promised. We list these so buyers can plan around our capacity instead of guessing at it.

01

Expanded capacity

Additional kiln lines and yard area to shorten lead times on repeat container orders.

02

Additional product lines

Coconut shell charcoal, biomass fuel and activated carbon — in development, not yet sold.

03

Improved automation

Mechanised grading and in-line weight checking to tighten consistency across shifts.

04

Certification

Working towards the sustainability and export certifications our buyers' markets increasingly require.

TIMELINES ARE SHARED WITH CONTRACTED BUYERS. WE DO NOT QUOTE CAPACITY WE DO NOT YET HAVE.
